Impressions Dental offers a wide variety of general and cosmetic dentistry services for the whole family. We take care to make each office visit as productive and enjoyable as possible. We hope that you will let us know if we can do anything to make your experience better! Listed below is a brief description of the dental services that we are pleased to offer:

New Patient Exam  
Each new patient exam includes a full mouth exam, x-rays, periodontal charting, and an oral cancer screening.

Cleanings/Prophylactic Treatment
We offer regular cleanings as well as deep cleanings, called scaling and root planing, based on the recommendation of the dentist. The American Dental Association recommends that every patient receive a prophylactic treatment at least every six months. Preventative maintenance is much less expensive than restorative treatment.

Child Exam & Cleanings
We LOVE KIDS! We encourage visits from all children ages 2 and up. Our service includes full mouth exam, x-rays (when permitted by child), and cleaning. Your child will love our Kids Kove with our newly installed Playstation, toys, books and movies! We also have Nemo's aquarium, cartoons above the dental chair, nitrous (when necessary and approved by parent/guardian), and we can often avoid using any shots! We promise to make your child's visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and will send them home with their very own goodie bag! All children who see us with a cavity-free mouth get to put their picture in our Cavity Free Club!

Limited Dental Exams
These are problem-focused exams for a specific tooth or area of the mouth that is causing pain or concern. Treatment on the specific area can generally be completed the same day, if desired.

Teeth Whitening
We offer both take-home whitening kits and Zoom! in-office whitening.

Take Home Tooth Whitening Kits After making an impression of your teeth, custom trays are then made to fit your teeth exactly. Prescription-strength whitening agent combined with the perfectly fitting mouth trays create a brighter, whiter smile after just a few treatments! Zoom! In-Office Dental Whitening In-Office Whitening is a one-hour process that instantly whitens your teeth. We also provide trays for patients who complete Zoom so that they may do at-home touch-ups as needed in the future. Although the whitening process itself only takes one hour, please plan for two hours in our office for the Zoom process to provide adequate time for adjustments. We require a complete cleaning and exam for new patients before any whitening procedures to ensure the best results.

Root Canals
A root canal is a procedure that extracts decayed pulp from the central part of the tooth, reshapes the canal and replaces the pulp with strengthening filler.

Extractions
The removal of a tooth. There are many circumstance under which the removal of a tooth may be recommended or necessary. Dr. Wettstein is frequently complimented on his extractions and patients say he is quick and painless!

Crowns
A crown is a permanent covering that fits over an original tooth that is either decayed, damaged or cracked. Crowns are made of a variety of different materials such as porcelain, gold, acrylic resin or a mix of these materials. Porcelain generally has the most natural appearance, although it is often less durable. We use the highest quality labs to ensure that your crown fits well.

Dentures
Dentures are removable prosthetic devices designed to replace missing teeth.
We offer both complete and partial dentures.

Bridges
A bridge is a fixed or removable prosthetic device meant to replace one or more missing teeth.
We offer both gold and porcelain bridges.

Invisalign Teeth Straightening
For patients over the age of 14, with complete adult dentition. Invisalign can be a wonderful teeth-straightening option. Discreet and user-friendly, Invisalign allows you to straighten your teeth AND have the ability to remove the trays while eating and drinking. Consultations for Invisalign are always free.

Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas)
For your comfort, we will provide nitrous oxide, upon request.

Digital Dental X-rays
Using 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays, digital x-rays allow us to view your images in seconds.  Digital x-rays are also extremely accurate and allow Dr. Wettstein to quickly diagnose any problem areas.

Intraoral Cameras
You don’t just have to take our word for it!  Each patient has a screen in the treatment room that allows them to view all of the x-rays and/or intraoral pictures we take.  This allows you to see for yourself each area where treatment is recommended.

Sonicare and other retail products
We offer Sonicare products, Fluoridex, Breath Rx and other retail products as a convenience.  We will always only offer products that we believe to be effective in providing great oral care. Just ask any team member about our recommendations for sensitive teeth, better brushing, or fresher breath.
